Job Summary
Conduct regular armed patrols of utility facilities, grounds, and parking areas to deter unauthorized activity and monitor restricted access points. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while verifying credentials and maintaining accurate logs. Assist with emergency preparedness procedures for severe weather and power-related incidents. Commit to a six-month fixed shift at an assigned site in Gibsonton, FL, with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform. Requires a valid armed guard card, driver's license, and high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Valid armed guard card or license
- Valid driver's license
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Possess a valid driver's license for driving positions only
