Job Summary
Conduct armed access control patrols at utility facilities, monitoring restricted areas, verifying credentials, and documenting visitor and vehicle activity. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following established escalation protocols while providing customer service to personnel and contractors. Maintain required reports, communicate observations to leadership, and participate in industry-specific security training. Commit to a six-month fixed shift at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform. Be at least 21 years of age with one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience, holding a valid driver's license and high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
