Job Summary
Administer medical first aid and maintain security over assigned areas by observing guests for unlawful or suspicious acts. Safeguard casino assets from threats, check credentials at access points, and respond quickly to phone and radio calls. Complete reports for all incidents and survey outdoor areas near the racetrack to prevent guest entry into restricted zones. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager. Requires Iowa EMT-B certification, valid driver's license, ability to lift 100 lbs, and experience handling stressful situations. Shift runs 3pm-11pm with Sunday and Monday days off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Iowa EMT-B certification or higher
- Valid driver's license
- Safe driving record
- Must meet company insurance requirements
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests and employees
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous military, security, or education in these fields
- Two or more year's related experience and/or training
