Job Summary
Administer first aid and emergency care to sick or injured persons, facilitate transport to medical facilities, and determine the nature and extent of illness or injury. Respond to emergency calls from dispatchers, establish priorities for procedures, and request additional rescue or utility services as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around business and perimeter sites while carrying out safety and security procedures. Report all medical incidents, accidents, or emergencies by completing a Daily Activity Log and Incident Report for every shift.
Required Qualifications
- Current EMT certification
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- State Certified EMT Basic, Intermediate, or Paramedic license
- Current Health Care Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR card
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
