Job Summary
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by executing security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter zones to identify unusual conditions. Monitor access activity and support visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures while deterring unauthorized access through visible presence. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to leadership. This part-time role in Johnston, RI, includes a six-month fixed shift commitment with the option to claim additional shifts via the Smart Tools platform.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Desired Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
