Security Officer Education Center

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and administrators while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and disturbances professionally, conducting regular unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, assist with orderly operations, and prepare accurate incident reports and shift documentation. Work a fixed anchor shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Thursdays in Sayville, NY, with a six-month commitment, while optionally picking up additional shifts via the Claim-A-Shift program to increase earnings. This part-time role offers flexibility to build toward a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week.
