Job Summary
Secure the client's property and location by conducting regular perimeter walks, moving blocker vehicles as needed, and monitoring assigned sites with high attentiveness. Report any suspicious activity immediately to the Security Corporal on location and provide detailed information to authorities when necessary. Correct inefficiencies, liabilities, and safety hazards at the appointed site while following procedures for gates, lights, and visitor check-ins. Communicate effectively with the team using assigned radios and operate a motor vehicle safely. Work onsite in varied conditions, including 24/7 operations, with shifts that may vary by day and time of day.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to sit upright, stand, or walk for 100% of the shift as needed
- Must be able to quickly ascend and descend stairs and move as needed to secure premises
- Must be able to engage quickly physically to de-escalate or respond to security or safety threats
- Must be able to regularly get in and out of vehicles to perform tasks including moving blocker vehicles as needed
- Must have excellent visual and auditory acuity to see, hear, and interpret observable people, things, behavior, and speech
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to work 2 weekends per month
- Must have a valid and current Driver's License
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
- Judgement and high level of integrity
- High initiative and reliability
- Ability to work in a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork
- Safely and legally operate a motor vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- Law enforcement, public safety, or military experience, preferred
