Job Summary
Conduct routine patrols throughout building interiors, common areas, parking zones, and perimeters to deter unwanted activity and identify conditions requiring attention. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations by documenting details and communicating with property management or emergency personnel as needed. Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Monitor access points and report maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and policy violations in accordance with post orders. Requires a valid driver's license and availability for a 12-hour night shift rotating schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Desired Qualifications
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred
