Job Summary
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations professionally while conducting regular patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies. Complete detailed reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate security concerns to site leadership or emergency responders. Requires a valid driver's license in the state of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license in the state where the job is located
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- 21+ years of age for armed roles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license for driving positions only
