Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas in healthcare and life sciences environments, including building entrances, laboratories, offices, and perimeter locations. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations while verifying credentials and reporting unusual conditions. Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities as needed. Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while communicating relevant information to leadership. Maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents and support a welcoming healthcare location.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license for driving positions only
