Job Summary
Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations while maintaining a visible presence to discourage security-related incidents. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner by following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within healthcare and life sciences locations. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity or facility concerns. Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation. Work a rotating day shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM Monday through Saturday, with a valid driver's license required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
