Job Summary
Secure client premises and deter suspicious activity by performing regular perimeter walks, monitoring assigned locations with high attentiveness, and ensuring gates, lights, and visitor check-ins follow established procedures. Immediately report any suspicious activity to the Security Corporal, Sergeant, or Regional Manager while maintaining a strict no-use-of-force policy focused solely on securing and reporting. Communicate effectively via assigned radio, identify and correct safety hazards, and provide detailed information to authorities as needed. Utilize a valid driver's license to operate vehicles safely and move blocker cars when required. Work full-time or part-time shifts, including weekend coverage, adhering to 24/7 operations schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Safely and legally operate a motor vehicle
- Must have a valid and current Driver's License
- Must be able to sit upright, stand, or walk for 100% of the shift as needed
- Must be able to quickly ascend and descend stairs and move as needed to secure premises
- Must be able to engage quickly physically to de-escalate or respond to security or safety threats
- Must be able to regularly get in and out of vehicles to perform tasks including moving blocker vehicles as needed
- Must have excellent visual and auditory acuity to see, hear, and interpret observable people, things, behavior, and speech
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to work 2 weekends per month
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
- Judgement and high level of integrity
- High initiative and reliability
