Job Summary
Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned areas, maintain a professional presence in building lobbies and control centers, and ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas. Observe and report suspicious activities, enforce site policies, and assist clients, visitors, and coworkers with a positive demeanor. Respond to emergencies by administering CPR/First Aid/AED care and communicating with emergency personnel using proper protocols. Check employee and vendor IDs, follow access procedures, and maintain professional communication with client staff and site supervisors. Shifts run Monday through Sunday in the 1st and 2nd time slots at a rate of $17.00–$19.00/hour. This part-time role requires high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and the ability to sit, stand, and walk for 8–12 hours while lifting up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent education certification, such as a GED
- Must be able to pass a drug screening at the time of hire and randomly thereafter (including for marijuana)
- Must not have been convicted of any felonies
- Must not have been convicted of any misdemeanors related to dishonesty, fraud, impersonation of law enforcement, assault, weapons, unauthorized sale of information or evidence, controlled substances (including for marijuana), or two or more alcohol related offenses
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk, including up and down stairs, for 8-12 hours at a time
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Must be CPR, First Aid, and AED certified (Child, Infant, and Adult), or willing to become certified and be physically capable of administering lifesaving care when needed
- Must be able to see clearly at least 20 feet away (assisted with glasses or contact lenses if necessary)
- Must be able to hear conversations in loud environments either in-person or via radio
- Must be able to use a smart mobile phone or computer to check emails and complete online training
- Must be able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must be professional and possess excellent customer service skills
- Must have excellent personal integrity and a positive attitude
- Must complete required trainings on time and adhere to all client and company policies
