Job Summary
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols. Monitor incoming calls, alarms, radio traffic, and electronic systems; document and dispatch security-related requests, incidents, and emergency notifications to appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, access-related records, and shift activity documentation in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant information to site leadership, emergency responders, and security-related personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, reporting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity. This fixed-shift commitment requires a six-month base schedule with flexibility to pick up additional shifts through the Claim-A-Shift program. Applicants must possess an active DoD Secret clearance and be at least 18 years of age.
Required Qualifications
- active DoD Secret clearance
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license
