Job Summary
Coordinate security-related communications, monitor alarm and access control systems, and dispatch resources for a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific policies and emergency response activities. Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and activity reports, then respond to incidents and critical situations by providing timely updates and escalating matters per protocol. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to report unusual conditions and access concerns. Work day shifts from 1:45 PM to 10:15 PM Monday through Sunday at a location in Maiden, NC.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Alarm panel experience is preferred
