Job Summary
Coordinate security-related communications, monitor alarm and access control systems, and dispatch resources as needed for a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and activity reports while responding to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to report unusual conditions and access concerns. Perform duties during day shifts from 1:45 PM to 10:15 PM Monday through Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience
- College degree
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- 21+ years of age for armed roles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
Desired Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience
- Customer service experience
- Comfort using a computer or tablet
- Alarm panel experience
