Job Summary
Conduct daily security patrols on foot and by mechanical methods across Gatorland property and parking areas to ensure guest and employee safety. Report all security and safety incidents to management in accordance with company policy and procedures. Assist in maintaining compliance with local, state, federal, and company rules and regulations. Serve as the primary response person for medical needs, including first aid and injury management for guests and staff. Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor, including extended hours and extra days when needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate
- Current Class D Security License
- 2+ years of previous security experience
- Ability to pass a thorough background investigation
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to present a professional image
- Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations during crises
- Availability to work outside the parameters of a regular work schedule (extended hours, extra days)
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Excellent writing skills
