Security Officer - Days

Conduct internal and external patrols of hospital buildings, satellite clinics, parking lots, and grounds to mitigate threats and report safety hazards. Respond to coded alarms, perform security escorts, assist with evacuations, and act as a first responder for emergency incidents. Intervene when suspicious behavior is observed by questioning and detaining persons with reasonable suspicion. Maintain and operate vehicles and shuttles safely while ensuring proper working conditions. Conduct initial inquiries for administrative and criminal complaints and report findings. Maintain high visibility to deter undesirable activity and assist anyone in need. Requires sound judgment, knowledge of emergency codes, and ability to troubleshoot access control systems.
