Job Summary
Ensure facility security protocols are in place and adhered to while patrolling the site on foot hourly and monitoring closed-circuit television systems. Enforce regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and premises, conducting initial and ongoing searches of residents' possessions. Manage emergency situations by performing monthly fire drills, administering random urinalysis and breathalyzer tests, and reporting safety concerns within 60 minutes of occurrence. Maintain proficiency in assigned equipment and verbal de-escalation techniques while treating clients with respect and professional care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of security experience
- Level 2 non-commissioned Security License, active in Texas
- No criminal record
- Ability to use computer to annotate shift updates
- Access to reliable transportation
- Current Texas driver's license
- Ability to pass drug testing and background check
- Bondable status
