Security Officer

Patrol all areas of the property; assist guests with room access. Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system. Lock entrances when required. Conduct daily hazard inspections. Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required. Assist guests and employees during emergencies; notify appropriate individuals. Defuse disturbances; call for outside assistance. Complete incident reports; maintain confidentiality of security-related documents. Escort unwelcome persons when needed. Conduct investigations and interviews; gather evidence. Follow all company policies; ensure uniform and professional appearance. Maintain safety and quality standards; stand, walk, or move for extended periods; lift/move objects as specified. Additional licensing/registration requirements may apply in some states.
