Job Summary
Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and assist with screening and movement of authorized personnel, guests, and deliveries. Work Saturdays from 11 PM to 7 AM with an option for additional shifts at a starting pay of $22.05 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
- Saturdays 11 PM - 7 AM (With option for more shifts)
- This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
- CPR and First Aid experience is preferred
- CPR certification is preferred
