Job Summary
Monitor access points, common areas, and building activity while verifying visitor and vendor access in accordance with site procedures. Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at commercial office and retail properties. Conduct regular patrols of office, retail, common, parking, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions. Respond to incidents and tenant concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting activities per site policies. Maintain professional communication with property management and emergency responders. Day shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM, varying by day).
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- A guard card or license is preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
