Job Summary
Monitor access points, common areas, and building activity while verifying visitor and vendor access in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting all activities per policy. Conduct regular and random patrols of office, retail, common, parking, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions. Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities at commercial office and retail properties. Maintain professional communication with property management and emergency responders as needed. Work a rotating day shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
