Job Summary
Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations following established protocols, then conduct regular patrols of healthcare facility areas including the business, perimeter, entrances, parking areas, and restricted locations. Monitor access points to support visitor management procedures and prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
- A Guard Card or license is preferred
