Job Summary
Conduct patient, visitor, and staff safety rounds while maintaining a close eye for detail. Collaborate with the team to monitor security protocols and respond to incidents. Maintain a valid California Driver's License, current BLS certification, and a State of California Guard Card. Hold a minimum of one year of law enforcement, security, or military experience. Possess an Advanced military, law enforcement, or security training endorsement. Complete the OC (Pepper) Spray Endorsement within 30 days of hire. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate
- 1 year of law enforcement, security, military or other relevant experience
- DL - Valid California Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Community Health System
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
- GUARD - State of California Guard Card
- CHS HealthStream Course
- CPS - OC (Pepper) Spray Endorsement
