Job Summary
Patrol all facility areas, clinics, and grounds to deter unauthorized activity while monitoring surveillance cameras and conducting property inspections. Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, investigate suspicious reports, and document incidents in accurate logs. Escort visitors, direct traffic, enforce parking regulations, and secure access points after hours. Collaborate with hospital staff and law enforcement during security situations. Requires 1-2 years of security experience, BLS certification, and adherence to state-specific licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI)
- Security Guard license
- Completion of a 24-hour Basic Security Officer Training program approved by the Georgia Board of Private Detective & Security Agencies and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
- License in state if required
Desired Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience working in a healthcare or hospital setting
- IAHSS - Certification As A Security Officer
- Facility Security Officer Certification
