Security Officer

Patrol assigned areas, monitor electronic surveillance equipment and hospital emergency systems, and dispatch personnel via radio to deter, detect, and investigate suspicious activity. Respond to emergency situations involving combative or violent individuals, utilizing de-escalation skills to resolve conflicts while greeting, directing, and communicating with patients and visitors. Provide information to staff, visitors, and patients regarding campus locations, rules, and regulations. Work independently with little supervision at CHI Mercy Health, maintaining the highest level of safety and security for individuals and property.
