Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Required - Unarmed)

Job Summary
Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information. Greet guests and employees while escorting visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points. Respond to security alarms and act as a first responder in emergency situations. Report safety concerns, breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to the client or other security personnel. Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders while safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism. Requires a Department of Defense security clearance and three years of experience on a cleared site.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance
- one or more of the following: Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site, Prior military experience, Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, Exceptional customer service skills, Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
Desired Qualifications
- Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
- Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
