Job Summary
Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information. Greet guests and employees while escorting visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points. Respond to and assess security or emergency alarms, acting as a first responder in emergency situations. Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to the client and other security personnel. Provide high-quality security services by safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism. This role requires a DoD security clearance and three years of experience on a cleared site.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance
- one or more of the following: Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site, Prior military experience, Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, Exceptional customer service skills, Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
Desired Qualifications
- Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
- Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
