Job Summary
Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to safeguard personnel, property, and classified information. Greet guests and employees while escorting visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points. Respond to security and emergency alarms, acting as a first responder in emergency situations. Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication. Work temporary overnight shifts from Sunday to Thursday between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. at Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
- Prior military experience
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Temporary Overnights - Sunday to Thursday 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
- Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
