Job Summary
Monitor building video surveillance, inspect hotel areas for security hazards, and ensure all entrances/exits comply with locking policies. Respond immediately to emergency situations, including fire evacuations and bomb threats, while processing written reports for incidents, injuries, and thefts. Maintain key accountability, secure meeting rooms, and manage vendor check-ins/out. Close outlets nightly and deliver in-house packages as required. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays in a 24/7 hospitality environment. Hourly wage $18.00 to $22.00. Full benefits package available after 30 days of service.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with MS Office applications and Outlook
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift, pull, push up to 25 pounds
- Ability to squat, bend, kneel and twist
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to see, hear, speak, read and write legibly
- Ability to reach with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
- Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time up to 8 hours
- Ability to climb stair and walk inclines or uneven terrain

Desired Qualifications
- Associates/Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred
- Additional training [e.g. military, law enforcement] and education is highly desirable
- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year security experience
- Previous work experience should include working in a high-volume environment
- Previous work experience should include working in a customer-service oriented atmosphere
- Demonstrates strong verbal and interpersonal skills
- Works well independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to exceptional guest service
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of the hotel
