Job Summary
Provide a safe and secure work environment for staff, patients and visitors at SVHM Fitzroy Campus; operate within a highly sophisticated Security Control environment including CCTV monitoring, access control solutions and Duress Alarms; respond to Emergency codes (Grey, Black); adhere to SOPs; act as Emergency/Deputy Emergency Coordinator; uphold the Sisters of Charity values while delivering security services; ensure security department delivers best‐practice service; join a 24/7/365 security team serving hospital facilities in Fitzroy and St Vincent’s on the Park; opportunities for career development and ongoing training; casual loading and superannuation available; requires a valid Level-2 security license and the ability to work in a healthcare setting with compliance to vaccine-related requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Current security/crowd control license (Level-2) inclusive of Control Room Operator
- A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain
- Knowledge of Law relating to Security Services
- Knowledge of what constitutes a public place (trespass) and Victorian Road Legislation (Issuing of Parking Infringements)
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Microsoft Outlook is desirable
