Job Summary
Security Officer responsible for providing safety/security at the healthcare facility, stationed at the front desk to monitor the building and assist residents, visitors, and staff. Duties include answering calls, operating paging/telephone systems, directing inquiries, maintaining resident files, guiding visitors, writing reports on nightly activities or irregularities, escorting individuals, ensuring access control, and ensuring doors are secured. Requires greeting visitors, following safety procedures, knowledge of emergency/disaster procedures, and the ability to log maintenance and Wi-Fi issues. Must attend OSHA and CDC in-service training, maintain confidentiality of resident information, and work across varied shifts with endurance for environmental hazards and travel within the facility. Education requirement is a minimum high school education or equivalent; English proficiency and effective interpersonal communication are essential. The role involves on-site, front-desk duties with daily administrative, safety, and security responsibilities in a healthcare setting.
