Job Summary
Security Officer role at Boyd Gaming responsible for maintaining a safe, orderly environment across the Belterra Park property. Duties include protecting money transfers and jackpots on the gaming floor, patrolling and monitoring assigned areas, assisting guests and team members, reporting incidents, preparing detailed reports, and coordinating emergency actions including evacuations. Requires strong guest service, confidentiality, knowledge of investigative procedures, ability to obtain required licenses/certifications, and compliance with gaming regulations; may involve operating company vehicles and responding to emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain extremely confidential information
- Must be bondable with no felony convictions
- Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per gaming regulations
- The skills are typically acquired through two months of on-the-job training, or through related experience
- CPR Certificate and blood borne pathogen training preferred
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations
