Job Summary
Conduct routine armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking zones, and perimeters to identify and report unusual activity or unauthorized access. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established post orders and escalation procedures. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities. Prepare clear reports of patrol findings and communicate relevant information to leadership. Work part-time days from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Fridays and Sundays at an aerospace and defense location in Ridley Park, PA.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of security-related experience
- At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience
- Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Pepper spray certification
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet
