Security Officer

Patrol the retail store premises, investigate disturbances, and monitor entry and exit points. Confidently call for help in emergency situations and operate theft-detecting devices while effectively managing large crowds to build positive customer relations. This role involves providing safety and security to staff and visitors in a well-known Northampton retail store holding various stock. Officers work a 4 on 4 off night pattern from 19:00 to 07:00. Candidates must hold an SIA License and possess a 5-year checkable work history, with physical fitness and the ability to work under pressure required. Upon transfer to the client after 12 weeks, employees receive benefits including company-funded license renewal, private medical cover, and various vouchers.
