Job Summary
Security Officer position at Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO. Respond to emergencies, patrol facilities and grounds, monitor alarms, enforce security policies, escort and assist patients, visitors, and staff, and prepare detailed security reports. Role includes handling security incidents, coordinating with emergency services, interviewing and meditating disputes, and testifying in legal proceedings when required. Work three 12-hour shifts (days and nights) with night differential pay after 7 PM; must meet physical requirements and carry non-lethal weapons per policy. Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must possess the ability to make accurate observations and exercise independent judgment
- Must demonstrate ability to write comprehensive security reports
- Must successfully complete required security training and Academy
- FingerPrint Clearance Card at time of hire
