Job Summary
Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and unsecured doors. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and direct guests per site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations while maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities as needed. Document patrol observations and incidents in clear reports, communicating relevant information to site leadership or emergency responders. Work part-time day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM in New York, NY, with a starting rate of $20.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
