Job Summary
Escort guests and employees to ensure safety, identify hazards, and report incidents to appropriate individuals. Assist with written reports on security-related events involving guests, staff, or property. Serve as dispatcher during emergencies, coordinate solutions, and inform outside agencies of suspicious situations. Operate company vehicles and ensure safe transportation of monies and gaming tokens. Maintain key access to locked areas and request identification from individuals under 21 to comply with regulations. Assist in opening and closing gaming tables while upholding Hard Rock values. Work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced environment with constant noise and flashing lights.
Required Qualifications
- Knows hazardous materials used on property and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing same
- Ability to handle and carry out instructions
- Ability to deal with people in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism
- Must be able to maintain composure under stress in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all team members and guests
- Must be able to lift, carry and/or move 50 pounds boxes and carts
- Must be able to work in a smoky environment
- Must be able to work while wearing radio earpieces
- Must be able to work in an environment where there are constant flashing lights and noise
- Must be able to stand for an eight-hour shift
- Ability to understand and promulgate written memos, instructions, regulations
- Basic reading and math skills
