Job Summary
Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor access points, verify credentials, document activity, and conduct regular patrols of entrances, loading areas, and the facility perimeter. Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm manner, notifying appropriate contacts as directed. Maintain accurate logs, complete required reports, and communicate shift information to leadership. Work fixed-anchor shifts with a six-month commitment, with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings. A valid driver's license is required for driving positions.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience is preferred
- A guard card or license is preferred
- Alarm panel experience is preferred
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
