Job Summary
Conduct visible foot and vehicle patrols to detect fire, accidents, policy violations, or criminal acts while monitoring buildings and grounds for suspicious activity. Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, and safety hazards, enforcing hospital policies and assisting with access control, directions, lost items, and escorts. Manage verbal or physical conflicts using de-escalation techniques, restraint methods, or appropriate legal force options when necessary. Document all incidents, reports, and observations in a thorough, factual, and timely manner. Complete required ongoing training, maintain licensure and certifications, and engage in continuous study of best practices to sustain professional competence.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 20 years of age
- Valid Michigan driver license
- LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI
