Security Officer Associate Watervliet

Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of hospital buildings and grounds to detect or deter criminal activity and unsafe conditions. Respond to emergency situations, calls for service, and requests for assistance, including directing patients, visitors, and providing lost-and-found services. Maintain access control for secured areas and manage verbal or physical conflicts using de-escalation and restraint techniques. Document incidents on reports in a factual and timely manner while engaging in continuous study to maintain professional competence and complete required training. Perform duties on a night shift (6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) with 36 weekly hours.
