Job Summary
Conduct routine armed patrols through residential common areas, entrances, parking zones, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity. Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by executing security procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities as needed. Monitor access points to verify authorized entry for residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries, then respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a professional manner while coordinating with emergency responders. Prepare accurate reports on observed conditions and incidents for site management and leadership. Work a part-time day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Boca Raton, FL, with a requirement for an armed guard card, one year of corrections or law enforcement experience, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Possess at least 1 year of corrections, law enforcement, military experience and/or degree in criminal justice
- Possess an armed guard card
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license
