Security Officer - Armed Site Patrol

Job Summary
Conduct routine armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving zones, parking lots, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity. Respond professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations by contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services. Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while monitoring access points for unusual conditions. Maintain required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Work a rotating schedule from 4:30 PM to 1 AM Thursday through Sunday at a Seattle, WA retail location.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possession of a valid firearms permit is preferred
- Familiarity with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
- Possession of an Armed Guard Card or License is preferred
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
