Job Summary
Inspect and prepare transportation vehicles for daily operation, performing pre- and post-trip inspections and documenting defects. Conduct pat-down searches, ensure individuals are properly secured before departure and during transit, and complete all required paperwork for acceptance and delivery. Safely operate vehicles while strictly adhering to federal, state, municipal, and organizational laws and regulations. Respond to emergencies and make necessary notifications pursuant to site Post Orders. This role requires a minimum of two years in law enforcement, military, or corrections, with a valid driver's license and Class D/Security Officer license. Full-time and part-time positions are available with a competitive hourly rate.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years' Experience as a Certified Law Enforcement Officer Civilian OR Military OR 2+ years Adult Corrections Will Qualify
- 21+ Years of Age or Older
- Valid Driver's License - In Job State
- Must be Able to Pass Allied and Client Background to include MVR for consideration
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current and valid driver's license
- Possess, or be able to obtain a Class D / Security Officer License Issued by the State of Florida
- Minimum of two (2) years of driving experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in one or more of the following: Law enforcement, Military Police, Corrections
- Effective oral and written communication skills; able to write informatively, clearly and accurately
- Active listening skills
- Able to assess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical Issues quickly and accurately
- Attention to detail; able to synthesize facts, concepts, principles
- Teamwork skills; able to mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy
Desired Qualifications
- Possession of a current and valid Commercial Driver's License with a Passenger endorsement
- Fluency in multiple languages (reading, writing, and speaking)
