Job Summary
Conduct routine armed patrols of the facility interior, exterior perimeter, loading docks, and distribution areas to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity while responding to security-related concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a professional manner. Provide customer service to clients while carrying out site-specific policies and emergency response activities. Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies. Work a day shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM in Anderson, SC, as part of Allied Universal's team safeguarding logistics and distribution locations.
Required Qualifications
- Possess an Armed Guard Card/License
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- A valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred
- Customer Service Experience is preferred
- Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred
