Job Summary
Conduct routine armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity while maintaining a visible presence for employee and visitor safety. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations following established reporting and escalation procedures. Monitor access points and visitor activity to verify credentials and support controlled entry to restricted areas. Provide exceptional customer service and prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, and observations. Work part-time shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays at financial institutions in Sioux Falls, SD.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience
- Concealed carry weapons permit
- Certified Protection Officer CPO certification
- At least 21 years of age for armed roles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Valid driver's license
