Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned areas in Tech/Media/Telecom locations to deter security incidents and support access awareness. Respond to alarms and critical situations by documenting observations and supporting follow-up actions per site protocols. Conduct regular armed patrols throughout buildings and perimeters to identify unusual conditions while maintaining equipment readiness and completing required logs. Verify credentials at access points and support visitor processing while following escalation procedures for restricted areas. Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by executing security procedures and emergency response activities appropriate to the technology and communications location.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- Access control and badge experience is preferred
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred
- Customer service experience is preferred
