Job Summary
Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following established protocols, notifying appropriate personnel, and providing professional customer service to visitors, employees, and agency staff. Monitor access points to verify authorization for entry for visitors, deliveries, contractors, and personnel while preparing accurate reports on incidents and patrol observations. Work a day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Sparks, NV, with a background investigation and drug screen required as conditions of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent
- Be at least 21 years of age
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Desired Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
- An armed guard card or license is preferred
