Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver

Conduct routine armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns. Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations with professionalism while maintaining a visible presence at a government correctional location. Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and residents by executing site-specific policies and emergency response activities. Monitor access points, verify authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports. Operate a vehicle in accordance with driver policy requirements and maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and firearm handling protocols. Work a day shift from 5:45 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Wednesday and Sunday.
